Vest The World (Vol 1)
Each member of Brooklyn Del & The Revelators wears a vest on stage. The guitarist, Matt Stark, makes the leather vests by hand.
As a thank you for my visual contribution to the band, he offered to make me a vest and invited me to document the process.
I was honored. I requested that my vest be made of waxed cotton (to signal that I am not in the band, but with the band). He repurposed a duster jacket that he’s been hanging on to for 20 years. Perfect. He even made a custom pocket for my favorite lens.
The band feels like family.
