The Long Song
Some stories ask to be photographed once. Others ask you to stay.
For the last year and a half, I’ve worked with the band, Brooklyn Del & The Revelators, and the family that formed around their music.
Some collaborations end when the assignment is over. This one became a friendship. Then a family. Somewhere along the way, I stopped documenting the story and became responsible for telling it well.
What began as a concert shoot became an ongoing exploration of trust, transformation, and the moments that exist before the spotlight arrives.
